Six friends from high school, now married with children, find their monthly get-together forever changed when Miriam announces her husband has been called by God to give up his business and move to the country in order to build a refuge against the coming judgment.

As the remaining friends face all sorts of tragedies, they have to decide how to deal with Miriam’s letters telling them they need to repent of their sins, leave their homes, and join them in their God-commanded work.
